take noob the headline miester as an example, we use two PR systems. one used for council elections and one used for the Holyrood elections, the D'Haunt system. its a system thats been designed so as no one party can win a majority. therefor every time the noobster starts his pish, quite often its been a cross party decision. so, noob will start his crying, bassed on some headline, while his party will have been involved in making any decision. he and many like him, dont understand PR systems.
LOL. You could run a "King For A Day" system and it will work, provided you all basically agree on everything already. Everything you have any control over, I mean. How did your PR system deal with the binary decision, Independence or Nay? What was the compromise solution? Remind me. Plus, you are conflating the issues of PR resulting in consensus, and not having any contentious issues upon which you have any influence over. Not the same thing. Pft. I should not have to explain any of this to a third-year politics student like yourself. Assume you are taking any of the lessons. Also, could you please explain how "no one party can win a majority" and how that relates to the SNP holding a majority? On the face of it, you sound a lil drunk, lil dude : o D
The 2nd Referendum Questions. UK should agree May's negotiated Withdrawal Agreement UK should proceed with Managed No Agreement Exit UK should withdraw Article 50 and Remain in the EU Scotland & NI should be Expelled from the UK You can select 2
yip, by the uk gov using the michal gove approach, our powers have been reduced. that's the brexit you want me to support. your onto a looser here. and exposes that lil bit of, do as i say not as i do, that's present in every brexiteer. it aint a good look.
Dude, what I want is for you to pursue your independence and not bottle it this time. If you could somehow take Gove with you, I will be staggeringly grateful. You don't have to keep him, you could dump him in a loch or something.
quite well actually, salmond broke the system.which was specifically designed to stop hiim win an overall majority. he implimented his manifesto promise, the edinbr agreement was signed, the scot gov produced a white paper, detailing what was involved, (unlike the brexiteers). the campaign commenced where camoron and better together made various commitments if a no vote was secured, he went back on his commitments. camoron was elected on a FPTP system.there was nothing that could be done to change his ways, there was no method of reaching consensus. no need to offer us a billion to get us over his betrayal.
the scots didnt bottle it, 500,000 english many of them pensioners scared of loosing their pension, many just second owners of holiday homes, students and army personnel that where just stationed here, bottled it. along with the EU nationals. and understandably too. fact.
So what you're saying is, consensus government works, except when there is no consensus. Seems legit. Thanks, finderman!
clearly thats what we are attempting to change. difference being, i see no desire for a future scot gov to get involved unilaterally or with the US of A in any business that aint our business. thats a UK thing, and we all know how these issues generally pan out.
So what you're saying is, multiculturalism does not work towards your "nation's" interests? OK then! Controversial but OK!
But what about taking Gove back? Isn't "Rendition" the term? Personally I would be fine will exiling him, or banishment?
That seems sensible, finderman. Pagham Parish Council feels much the same way about such issues. You'd like Pagham.
no, thats what your saying. come join me on our next celebration of the desire to be independent. talk to everybody that's surrounds you. guess where they are from, tho the accents should give it away, and ask em why they are there. things have changed since 2014, i supposed i should thank the brexiteers for that.
Bugger I down dead though, finderman, your quoting skills are coming on marvellously! My best student! : o )
Well obviously, I cannot be invited to your Wicker Man celebration, being one of those pesky Englishmen who don't vote along with The Collective. Trap avoided! sneaky finderman sneaky
They occasionally rebel, you know. They don't stand and say God Save The Queen, if no one is watching. You should try being rebellious sometimes... get back to your roots and such.
