  1. In the Land of the Blind, the short-sighted male-identifying individual is King!

  2. in the land of the blind, you wont see us looking down on you.
they're just five names to you. but they are all friends and good customers of mine. and thats just the ones i can spell. some self employed and talented tradesmen.
some the friendly face you will see working the bars and hotels.
all with wife's and kids in the local schools.
    all pay tax.
they all keep the local industries staffed.
they all pay me and keep my kids in food and clothes.
non of them recognize the big issues you have with the EU.
they all get the overcrowding in some parts of the uk as most started their stay in he south.
they can all see the bigger picture.
like them, non of you can answer when asked, who and what do you mean when you say, "we will prosper".
if you could give that an honest answer to that. you could kiss yer brexit goodby. which is why they, and you lot, wont.

  3. finderman, do you wake up angry or do you have a morning routine?

    I'm betting it's Angry Yoga.

Chill, little stuff, it ain't worth getting worked up over. You'd be happier maybe if you had your own Scottish Labour Party up there.

  4. I don't think the EU offers a Panacea of successfully negotiating trade deals. Am I right thinking of Canada who were in virtual despair of their trade negotiations which after 7 years or so were held up by one tiny province in Belgium who had a veto.

  5. I can't help feeling that when it comes to the UK he is a condescending twat. Still he's only on about 370,000 Euros a year so what can you expect.

maybe you could answer this one, why do you support the methods used to deminish my rights and our powers within our parliment by the UK's unelected lords?.sovereignty?
goat in fuck. roll on the day we can just pity you, rather than be tied to you. fuckers.

  7. You have only to ask me a question and I am more than delighted to answer it.
I want you to be up to speed with politics - how can you possibly learn if people won't answer your questions?

    Ask away!

  8. Have I woke into an alternate universe where everything is reversed?

  9. Is now a good time to point out when some have mentioned the problems of Scottish independence to YOU fin, one of your comebacks when money has been mentioned, has been, independence is about more than just money

  10. Is it just me, or is there a general 'feel' in the news / media that the EU and UK Gov are 'starting' to prepare for a no deal ?
Shame they didn't from the start I think, would have been a better starting point.

  11. w
no i,dont. you have too wee too poor set to repete. i mearly point on where yer wrong, i would of taken being out of the EU in our reff, mostly because i am, v,confident we can afford it, add on our assets and strategic position in the world they would of been beging us to rejoin.
you guys say its about the money. within the EU, the UK is 5-6TH wealthiest nation on the plannet. so it aint about wealth creation.
you say it's about making our own laws, we do, and v,few can name a law they would change.
if you where to say its about how we collect and spend our money. kinda, but it wasnt the EU that made scotland, in 2005 the poorest nation in the EU. along with the north of england and south west amoust the poorest, so much so that they have to approach the EU for funding. so, for the majority it cant be about that either.
    tory/kipper bull shit.
for the vast majority, its primeraly about immigration, for them, every excuse will be used. bar saying it. you aint convincing anybody.
48% (at the last count) recognize it. thats why it aint
    going away any time soon.
    .
I like Tim, sometimes I feel people look own on him because he has that Norfolk accent. I doubt many are aware he qualified as a Barrister
somtimes you just cant help it. warra dumb thing to think, let alone say.

  12. So they are planning for a no deal. We'll done, what the fuck having they been doing.

Would someone take that bloody cow and have a word in her ear. Defenately needs a physiological test done.

  13. I'll take that as a no then ? :D

  14. Prefer remain, but the delays have been very damaging either way. Rest of world will now have little faith in dealing with UK after watching this shambles. All it has done is give the EU and ROW more time to get in to a stronger position. Very poor negotiating skills and our lot need bloody good kicking.

  17. Little more than expected contingency planning. We've used them before in fireman strikes and floodings so having them available to help out IF needed is prudent planning.

Rudds got to watch herself, her constituency voted to leave and by a majority but in the general election only got her mp job by 346 votes, she isn't tremendously popular down there and going against the majority of your constituents is something most mp's will have to deal with if they do it.

Hopefully when we start negotiations with other countries, we keep the civil service and politicians out of it but employ negotiators to give us the best deal.

  18. i've just been reading the various news reports coming out today.. yep, still a clusterfuck.

  19. What you have to appreciate is that we have a 24 hour newspaper and tv/internet media who have now, effectively nothing to do on brexit till the week commencing January 11th.

Sky is a good example of this. They have the sky news reporter in the studio talking to another of their news reporters on the parliament green, who is also talking to another sky news reporter standing right next to them, whilst linking over to another sky news reporter inside the houses of parliament and another sky news reporter in Brussels.

Hardly anything is happening now till the 11th but they all have 24 hour news companies with very little or no news, so there is a lot of I've heard, I feel, I suggest, someone high up but doesn't want to be named nonsense going on.

  20. Sky have time to do some more of their excellent polls then.

You know - I texted 10 of my mates and it shows that 99% of the country think the leaders should have a tv debate
