On the first link, Calias port authority are cacking their pants that the U.K. will use other ports and so losing a lot of business for that port and once we set it up, they might not get that traffic back. The ft links always go to subscription, buggers to post for info
This reminds of when we went decimal. For some reason or another everything became more expensive "because we've gone decimal". Deal or no deal we're gonna get the price increase because of Brexit. TB
A british trade negotiator is a bit vague until you find out it is Jason J Hunter, an arch remainiac who tries to get on every station he can to say stop brexit. https://www.tw-in.co.uk/ https://twitter.com/jasonjhunter?lang=en I'm a bit puzzled why he mentions he was a trade negotiator for hong kong given the Chinese have had it since 1999 so what did he negotiate exactly? It shows him as the head of sales at dale power solutions https://uk.linkedin.com/in/jasonjhunter but this next part says Jason has subsequently been travelling around a lot of Europe meeting with various interested parties, representatives of the EU itself, and indeed members of Irish government, given the particular issues over the border. https://www.tw-in.co.uk/events/2018/12/7/jason-j-hunter-international-trade-negotiator How is he a trade negotiator, has meetings with the eu itself, and the irish government but head of sales for a very small electrical company?
yip, how can he be a trade negotiator? the uk hasn't got any? . and besides, who woul be a trade negotiator when they could be working kitchens, or wiping noobs ass before ....? kisses it, all for a gazillion pounds an hour once all those pesky immigrants are gone.
dinna worry chiz, jimmy's words and deeds will be forgotten or lost. the PM will make sure of it. she's an expert.
time for some non noob analysis. Okay, it’s only the 19th of December, but we don’t think there’s any chance of this one being beaten by the time it’s 2019. As expected, Labour bottled the chance to call a vote of no confidence in the UK government today, refusing to support a motion tabled by four other opposition parties last night and thereby guaranteeing the Tories at least another two months in power. Their official stated reason for doing this is that the only way to avoid a disastrous hard Brexit is to call a vote of no confidence in the Tories, trigger a general election, get a Labour majority and then go to the EU and somehow magically negotiate a better deal from them than the Tories have done. Which makes this a bit of a beamer https://twitter.com/labourpress/status/1075362582960189440 So if it’s “very clear” that there can be “no more negotiations” (and therefore no better deal), and Labour is going to vote against Theresa May’s deal (which Labour says it is), and if Brexit is going to happen (which Labour says it is), then the only possible conclusion left is that Labour’s official policy is now to crash out of the EU with no deal, and absolutely everything the party is saying in public about Brexit is a lie. So at least everyone now finally knows where they stand. Even if, as is so often the case nowadays, it’s only because Labour told the truth by accident.
