Cat n, former cat d due to a slow speed dink on a petrol station forecourt no evidence of repair or damage, only a slightly cleaner front n/s headlight gives it away. Timing belt was changed 30 months ago unfortunately and bizarrely the water pump was not if I can’t sell it I’ll get a new belt kit inc water pump rollers etc complete kit fitted is £350 at Audi specialist in Leeds so not horrendous Alcantara present on the handbrake, gear knob, and steering wheel (worn on the wheel) Winter tyres are presently fitted and I do not have any other tyres for it, some slight kerbing is present on the qs 15 spoke alloys, nothing serious but it's there. No rust bubbles present the whole body looks good, obviously a few stone chips, one slight scratch on the drivers door that might well come out. Cargo net present in the rear, no rear seats in these, after market Bluetooth stereo, unfortunately the tt chrome radio lid does not shut with the aftermarket sound system. Car goes well, has two flip keys, all books in the book pack. A few pixels on the dash occasionally go missing especially in the really cold weather this is a £150 fix at a place in rugby I would or will use depending on what happens regarding if I keep it or not, the pixel issue rarely happens but is a common fault on the tt. I will add more when I get chance but working away from tomorrow so be a few days. These cars are going or at least been advertised at silly money, this car is every bit the same but reduced due to been on the register, any inspection welcome and encouraged. Car on eBay, price on here £4790 A year has flown by mot is looming I’ll get a new one done. Four dents have appeared underneath from a garage jacking the car up on the sills while fitting a new rear calliper second time garage has done this to a tt of mine. Now on 90,500 miles rising very slowly as hardly use it. No more issues to report I don’t think other than the battery if left 10 days or so can labour to start
Cheers, it’s only washed and not properly to be honest, 240bhp standard and very limited, funny when we popped over to see you we saw 2 in Cheltenham near to your place, it’s a cat d but these are a fortune if not on register with this mileage and condition, this car is fantastic, it goes, stops, does everything it drives superb and with winter tyres on it is like a limpet in all weather, somebody is missing a trick with this car it’s like a new car driving wise just a cat d yet people prefer to pay 8 to 9k + for the sake of it been non cat d, I find it incredible many do not consider these.
Nooooooo, to be fair a 225 with a lot of weight stripped out ie the interior and just a recaro in it, a remap some suspension changes etc and bear in mind a 225 these days can be got for peanuts that would be a good track car, the tt although thought of as a hairdresser car by some is a very good drive, whoever designed it needs a medal, stood the test of time very well

You are right these have stood the test of time, I think these are one of the best shapes on the road. In my old car dealing days I found it hard to turn down a TT. Would not be upset if this was on my drive
Thank you, it’ll be getting kept at this rate as my insurance is due and I’m not faffing about once it’s insured again, I don’t think it will sell in the uk unfortunately, I really enjoyed running it over Christmas my Mrs has a lovely tts now and I can drive that when I want but I kept grabbing the qs key, it’s fairly raw, a really involving drive plenty quick for what I need, handles a dream and actually starting to feel ok in the recaro seats but still think I prefer comfort seats, anyway what will be will be, absolutely any inspection and drive will show it for what it is however it has the stigma of cat n/s or cat d anyone who fancies one of these look at the price of them, I should keep it hardly ever see another in any colour never mind avus, I have to face the fact that I just get bored and sell for the sake of it, still nobody is perfect it’s just a fault of mine, I just sold my z4 coupe and totally regret it...hopefully my 1198 is staying please don’t let me sell it.

It’s on eBay but not sure what to say about eBay Car is pretty well the same as a year ago just another year of little use maybe 1500 miles looking at the advert but mot check will show miles it’s on 90,500 I’ll get it a new test asap I think 10th December it runs out Still on winter tyres £4990
