  12. no mate, still got my pegaso trail, original nc30, 999s, 998s and cbr600 sport. The 999 is for sale and part of me says the 998 is too but doubt I could part with it even for the right offer :)

  13. Yamaha DT 125
    kawasaki KX250
    Yamaha YZ250
    Honda CR250
2001 Yamaha R6 - 1st road bike, got catapulted through the air after a few months of ownership
    2002 Yamaha R6
2000 Yamaha R1 - great bike, probably never sell it

    Soon to be Ducati 1098/1198

  14. Garelli Rekord - now that dates me, but top end was just a smidge faster than my mates' FS1E's and it was Italian.
NVT Easyrider - most emabarissing thing I ever rode, only thing my Mum would let me ride after I wrote-off the Rekord, please don't google it.
Suzuki TS185 - our neighbours hated it, everyone within earshot and over 20 hated it!
Honda CB250 RS - not the Superdream, a thumper with real character. At the time I thought it was my first 'big bike' :)
Honda CX500 - spent two summers dispatching on this when I was a student, never serviced it and it never broke down.
Honda C90 - postie bike, my main mode of transport whilst I owned a series of unreliable but sporty Renault and Fiat tin boxes.
Aprila Pegaso 650 - lovely bike when it would start.
Suzuki GSF 600S K1 - Bandits, you can't quite love them but if you've owned one you can't hate them either.
Suzuki GSF 1200 K1 - as above but with a bit more poke.
Ducati ST3 2004 - what's going on inside that clutch housing?

Next Bike - Saving up for an 848 to run alongside the ST3.

  15. Oh I need to add one to mine, I had a CB 250RS that I forgot about, twin exhausts on a single cylinder, lovely 'little' bike LOL

  16. Twin exhausts, disc brakes up front (well a single solid disc nearly 1/2" thick) and a trendy rectangular headlight. In it's time it was light-weight and torquey - almost a super-bike! Till you realised it a ran out of puff at 85 mph, I loved my 250RS.

  17. Riding 20 years, I currently have 12, over 300 total. I used to buy and sell a few years ago during a particularly desperate period to make ends meet. I think 22 was my record at one time.
The GT is only my second duke. First was a 906 PASO, that was great but I was young and not so fussy. Not sure Ill have another ducati after this one, I am a bit big, 6'4 and 17 stone for them, and a lazy rider so I think its guzzis only for me from now on.

  18. Only been riding since 2008 so list is seriously short. Even though I have loved bikes since I was a kid i never managed to own one until I was 35!

    my list

    ZX6R p7f
    GSXR1000 k9
    Multistrada 1200 S Sport

  19. Rectangular speedo & rev counter too, yuk!

  20. I dispatched on one of those, cained it mercilessly round town and had huuge fun on it. Used to dread jobs out of town on it tho, like you say, it ran out of puff at 85!!! Mine was screwed at 70!! My mate ran over some dear old-soul on one and broke her hip, he told me, all she could say was "Where's me butter? Where's me butter?" Repeatedly. Shopping all over the place. The way he said it you couldn't help but laugh!! About a fortnight later, some old geezer walked right out in front of me through some parked cars, and to this day I'll never know how I didn't total him.

Went back to base that night and handed my notice in - never again.
