It strikes me that there are two types of bike owners - those that swap bikes regularly, and those that keep bikes for years. I am definitely one of the latter. Since 1981 my list has been : Suzuki X1 (ZR50K), Honda CD125, Suzuki GS250T, Honda CB100N, Honda CM125, Honda CM200, Honda CB200, Honda CBX550, Yamaha XT250, Honda CB250 Nighthawk, Yamaha RD250DX, Kawasaki ZR550 Zephyr, Ducati ST4 (still have), Ducati 600 Monster Dark (still have), Kawasaki KE100 (still have), Kawasaki KH100 (long-term project), Sym 200 Joyride (still have), Laverda 750S Formula (just bought - lovely!). I think that makes 18 in 32 years - six of which I still have.

So 18 bikes in 35 years, I'd love to own more than one again but have no space (currently).
mine was 70 when i first posted but since then i have bought a 93 fireblade , a buell X1lightning a XT650, and a buell 1125r , I think i may have a problem
