What is your preferred option for the United Kingdom moving forward?

  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  4. I realise this is only one aspect of your most excellent post.

    But I don't think the end of free movement means the end of movement. It just means the end of freeloaders and undesirables.

    AND we have the whole world to choose the skills and talents of people we want to come here and pay tax.

  10. The German finance minister, someone who definitely wants to punish us for leaving gave an interview to a German paper and said "If UK leaves EU without Brexit deal, it will become ‘a third country like Morocco or Azerbaijan,’"

    To put some perspective on that
    There are 195 countries
    The U.K. is Currently 5th richest economy.
    Oettinger is stating that if we leave with no deal we will be either 63rd like Morocco or 68th like Azerbijan
    I'm not sure what kind of perspective tablet he's been taking but the sillyness is showing. We wil drop to around 6th probably 7th in the short term

    The other thing that pricked the spidey senses was that they are openly talking about the U.K. not paying the £39 billion, almost as though they know it's an option and they were just chancing it.

  18. I have a theory :D He doesn't disappear to Edinboro for new year, it just takes 2 days to get to the other Scots in the forum who want independence for Scotland. It takes ages to get to Surrey and the South East and then back again :joy:
