  1. That’s a different bike and better than the 20th anni version
His is actual video is based on the full parts bin bike with the yec/gytr cams, crank etc
The 20th anniversary version still has standard engine but all the external extras and fancy carbon bodywork in the cool paint scheme

  2. So not the limited run gtr version at all?!

  3. The one that BVG rides could be built by anyone with deep enough pockets (circa £45k)
The 20th Anniv version just had limited edition paintwork
    Looks like my bike tbh

  4. Fella I know knockedmsecomds off his times with his R1 first time out, went from mid pack NL to top 10 and started doing some really quick times. He says all down to changing to the R1, and he’d had zx10r, full ex-Brooke’s bsb bike, blade

  5. Mate of mine got an R1M. He’s not improved his times much though as he does about 500 miles a year, one Sunday a quarter, to get breakfast.

  6. It’s going to take some time to get it set up how I like both the suspension and the electronics (it’s got full YEC/GYTR ECU with the latest motorsport software, so not like the road version), but I’m hoping I can go quicker on it
I’ve got 4 days booked at Cartagena mid feb, so that’ll give me a chance to start working through various springs and geometry settings etc
