And its now become apparent that one of the directors of Seaborne was previously a director of a company that HMRC wound up due to substantial unpaid taxes. Due diligence..........yeah right.
I used to like her stuff but then when she started going beyond sense and more into shock jock, I began feeling uncomfortable with some of her stuff. I did watch it and it ties in with a number of other stations interviews. I watched a Sky interview with one of the recent Iranian economic migrants coming over and she asked point blank, why if safety is your number one claimed need through the asylum claim, why do you ignore all the safe european countries between Iran and the U.K. to then try and get to the U.K. ? The chap was honest and said, The French police beat us to get us to move from place to place, plus in the U.K. we get better benefits and more likely to be able to bring family over once we get accepted which again happens far faster in the U.K. than France. I don't blame the migrants wanting a better life, I blame the failure of our system in allowing who should have access to it. Personally I'd like to see us pull out of the asylum/refugee convention. We are as a nation, no other nations first safe country so it doesn't apply to us but also and mostly, the people smugglers are exploiting the loophole that says first safe country and have turned it into a travel agents "what country would you like to go to today?"
Mmmm, nothing on the News about the riots today in Paris and across France (despite Brexit) very fucking strange...
