  2. Nice one!

Pleased with them? How have you found them compared to stock (sound, throttle response, power etc.) ?

  3. So far good not had a good ride yet so not much to report

  4. Much better than the old style ones imo, actually now getting as nice as Akros ;-)

  5. I think termis look a lot better than akros. Shame the build quality isn't. But I'm happy with my termis, do wish I had the slash cut though.

  6. They look fantastic.

  7. now that is sexy....why didnt ducati just do it properly in the first place??

Where did you get them, and how much, or are they now stock?? Sorry i dont know, but i need this information..

Im hoping to get a Tric this time next year, and youve just taught me that to not fit these is akin to sex crime.

they look just so...well, so fkn right, do you know what i mean??

  8. They do look very nice inded. Not sure I can justify dropping the money to get some at the moment, but give it time :upyeah:

  9. Woods of Abergele £1300 fitted

  10. Have to agree that the later slash cut Termis look to be the way they should've been in the first place.

I never realised there were two types until I started looking into buying the 848 seriously, then when I saw these I had to spec. them on my bike. They fit the shape of tail so well and being shorter than the stock pipes or the original design Termis they just looks amazing. neat and purposeful. They are really expensive, almost ridiculously so, but I had to just bite the bullet and order them from day one.

Nice bike Richie. Let us know how you geton with the pipes once you're out and about a bit.

  11. Sucker

  12. Wider shot needed really...any excuse to take pics is a ood one ;-)

  13. £1300 for the end cans only? wow they are expensive. I thought the zards were big money at £850!

  14. Isn't that chip, filter and cans tho? Ducati normally sell as a set

  15. It's a full "stage 1" tune really. Pipes, filter, replacement ECU and fitting by the dealer.

I paid the same (ish) for mine to go on the Corse. I thought it was a rip off compared to Akras or similar, but if you add in a Power Commander etc. it's much the same price all told. Granted the ECU is not going to be perfect as the PC will let you tailor it to the individual bike rather than the pre-set off the shelf settings... but the Termis are factory backed too and maintain the Ducati warranty. I considered the overall package and decided the Termis were the best bet, but they are bloody expensive.

  17. Why's that then?

  18. No worries Simon....TBH I'd have picked the termi's too, but then I've got the rearsets and already know I don't like or need them.

  19. Wow, the baffles are really noticeable when they're fitted. Do they make as much of a difference to the sound as it looks like they do?

(not sure my question makes sense, but hopefully you know what I mean)

    Andy

  20. Baffles should only be fitted for noise testing on a TD. To do so otherwise is sacralege. Consider yourself reprimanded ;-)
