Hello from sunny, warm NZ. 32C today in my neck of the woods. Have had an interesting couple of months recently, bike-wise. On Halloween day, guy in a C63 decided to pull a u turn right in front of me without looking. I t-boned him right on his front wheel and went over his hood and onto the deck and totalled my trusty old ST4s. The forks were bent well back, the tank displaced so much it bent the ignition key over 45 degrees, oil on the road... no blood though. Just sore and whacked my groin/nuts on the tank going over the screen and had a good bruise there... and a very sore throttle wrist still. So, I decided to upgrade just before Christmas And out on a Ride on Sunday. Oh, here is my other ride I have spent the last couple of years completely resto-modding. Have had this one 30 years.
fucken phn... ki ora bro...,welcome to our lil mad house. where you at? im from west auckland myself but have been stuck in the uk for a few years
Welcome, Southerly Dude. Sorry for your ST4S, they are a disappearing breed. Don't listen to chizel ^^, lack of sunshine and poor London air has converted his kiwi genes to oxtail soup.
Between Riverhead and Coatesville, bro. Just got back from a month in the UK and France. Pic was from 16 up near Wellsford.
I can relate. Spent a week in Shoreditch working in early Dec, and then a few more days in Hammersmith on the way out at the end of the month.
You'll recover. Try not to think about chiz though. Nothing you can do for the lad. Hammersmith is a good venue for music, it's a real reason for going to London.
And just now got the results back from my xray, cuz the wristy still hurting... The base of the 5th metacarpal is slightly irregular at the ulnar corner of the articular surface which could indicate a recent partly healed fracture, so clinical correlation of that area is required. Normal carpal bones apart from minimal degeneration at the distal scaphoid.
This will be no comfort but I injured both my hands in a crash in 1995. The thumbs are still sore now. Oddly enough, the thumb I didn't smash gives me as much trouble as the one I did, in terms of pain.
Welcome. That Norton's stunning. And I was hugely impressed with the knacker led tank dent. Bloody good work!
I walked funny for a few days after that... Yeah, a lot of hours on the Norton. Took it down to every last nut and bolt.
Welcome Aussie Islander - we have one of yours you met already but he can't go back as he's wanted (well not really wanted as such) but hey oh
Chur bro, I am in the far north. Well, whangarei mainly...riding a multi 1200 or a monster s4r, whichever one is more goinger than the other!
