as above so the 1198 has a full system but the dash display does not say racing from memory the 848 I had did say racing, any thoughts? It wouldn’t run properly with a standard ecu would it? Ta
Depends, if it has the DP chip it does, or if you have had it custome mapped the mapper can pit whatever you want on the dash.
My 848 ran fine without the map, then had it mapped and runs better, but also now has ‘racing’ come up on the dash.

Can't see properly but that heat shield looks like the one on a full system. Should say 'Racing Evo' if it has the full system with a Ducati Performance ECU. As above though if the ECUs been reflashed it can be programmed to say anything or nothing. Have a look at the ECU for the part numbers on it.
Yep, full system, you can tell by the bend just before the end can. I couldn't see it in the original pics with the rear foot pegs.
@I'm closing in Very brave of you to post your registration number so clearly and repeatedly on a public forum. Most folk would be a bit shy about doing that.
I got a speeding ticket through the post from Essex police, I was doing some daft speed in a 30 in grays, trouble is I was working in Birkenhead at the time ...had to send pictures of my bike police dropped it, yes a tiny hassle but nothing too dramatic, I was advertising the bike with the number plate visible which is where they might have seen the plate.
