I bought some rattle can paint to re-do the foot peg hangers on my old 620ies. flakey flakey very flakey

 

Just bought some Stompgrips

 

Thought about getting some of these till I saw pictures of a set of leathers where they had worn through the stretch panels at the knees

 

Had 'em on my race bike and never had that problem. I found they really helped me on track - not really necessary on the road though.

 

Could of been they were not positioned correctly I guess, That or rubbish stretch panels in the leathers

 

My son spoilt his leathers within 12 months of weekend riding useing stomp grips.

 

Definitely not getting now

Ahh the Samco kit. Which bike did you get them. If its an 1098/1198/848 be wary of the hoses to the header tank, especially the overflow hose To do it easily, you really need to take the tank and the airbox off, otherwise its a massive PITA. Silicon spray is your friend here. You can get to the thermostat and other hoses by taking the left side of the bike apart, battery etc. I would advise taking the nose off too to remove the ram duct which gives you easy access the to the top of the rad. Anyway, after all this, you'll prob say you ride a Monster now :biggrin:
