Had a good day today, my first little Italian went in for service today (fiat 500) it was absolutely filthy and came back spotless, then got paid for a job where I had been waiting for the money since November ! Certainly put a smile on my face  !
Who knows? He is a deeply unpopular man on site, so the other engineers tell me; he's already been demoted from manager to leading hand, and for some reason he's got something against either us or the company that installed the new aircon. The security guy thought it hilarious that he'd got caught on camera, and couldn't wait to ring just about everyone on site to let them know. I guess it'll all come out in the wash.
Shopping, couple of new suits for new job that I start 11 March, hour on the treadmill and the obligatory Costa ;-)
^ wish my knee healed as good as yours bradders - pleased for you. I last cycled in Sept 2011. Today ran 'my' Thumper up until smoking hot and drained oil/frametank and removed exhaust manifold bolts while hot.
Yeah, knee seems ok, shoulder still fecked and max 50% strength but cope ok. Sytayomg clear of anything which means I have to twist or turn...straight lines or walking only Lost nearly 2 st last 2 months, still 3/4 more before I get t where I was 2011 before I did my back in and 3 til I hit where I want t be
I wrote most of a competitive review for a project. Went to the gym, then on to band practice and played non-stop for an hour and a half. I had a magic tone today. Some days you can't get any tone you like, others both the Strat and the Les Paul sound sublime. Got to be about time to go to bed.
just the thought of that makes me ache Jester! Re: 'caught on camera' - truly bang to rights then Fig.. keep that CCTV footage safe!!
bad day so far - stupid American staff grrrr - I may have to go and hit something looking forward to getting out on the bike tomorrow though
Nice job, you sure you didn't miscount and only do 107....? just out of interest are you measuring time taken for these targets, or focussing more on distance?
Costa fix with a biker mate so I could drop him the slicks I had for him, followed by a trip to Halfrauds to get some threadlock for the dreaded zorst cover bolts and mastic to stick the bum pad on...followed by removal of said mastic and it wouldnt fox, then lots of polish trying to get the bloomin stuff back off m carbon seat unit!!
At the moment I'm just counting distance, though I do like to work out my time taken average per length over the course of the swim. Last night worked out at an average rate of 30.88 seconds per length, nothing special but not too bad for only 9th swim of the year. The first 30 minutes saw me do 62 lengths at a rate of 29.03 seconds. So a slow down in rate of 1.85 seconds average over the course of the remainder of the session.
