The thing is, there is a bit of a difference about not wishing to sign up to the "EU Project" and wishing to have nothing to do with it under any circs. You sit in the latter camp. Do all Brexiteers? (Most of them probably, to be fair, for the same somewhat spurious reasons). May's deal has been rejected by Brexiteers because it just isn't enough Brexit for them. So it's not a question of getting off the train, it's about getting off the train and taking a very fast car to leave the station behind as soon as possible with never a backward glance in the rear view mirror. This is a bonkers attitude, but I find it particularly sad that the hard Brexiteers are perfectly happy to gamble with the lives and wellbeing of the people of NI. The hard border will return and the Troubles with it. As it stands, it's not that important any more for the Northern Irish to wonder if they belong to Ireland or the UK as they belong to Europe in any event and the border barely exists. But post Brexit, it's be another kettle of nails. Still, Northern Ireland, eh? Who cares? What really counts is that Britain (well, England actually) sticks it to the Eurocrats.

In your world Glid, all of that applies to you but all that has happened is that we had a democratic vote to leave the eu, the vote said yes Now you can try and make it a scenery of 58 hills if you wish because you disagree with that democratic vote, but piss and wind is all it will be. There are no hard brexiteers, there are people who took part in a democratic vote, saw the result and asked for it to be implemented as was promised. As to Northern Ireland, pah. If we go to free trade/and wto the same issue remains but I guarranty once we do, the issue will not be so important to the eu as their last trump card would not have worked.
