Hi Have bought a set of Rizoma RRC Rearsets for an 1199S, seems to be conflicting info out there about what may be needed to convert to run race shift ..... Anyone know for sure what I need ? Cheers Dibs of the Manor
were there any instructions as i found a site that said all the stuff is in the kit to do it either way..
To get race shift with the standard road shift quick shifter your rear sets will have to have 2 positioning points for the qs rod, one before the pivot point and one beyond the pivot point, this will be done by either having 2 positions on the shift leaver of by having 2 different shift leavers. Mines the same on the 959 with the Lightech. You will need the race option shift adaptor and believe this is the same for Rizoma set-up. Easy enough to swap between the two...
@andyb Where did you take that pic of @final_edition can't work out if its Aragon or Portimao .. lol Cheers guys, so should have what i need in the box .... @andyb in fairness i didn't buy them new so never went to their website and the t'internet had conflicting info ..... Will see what my spanner monkey says when he visits ....
