Got the sleepers delivered at 7.00 am this morning waking all the neighbours up! Made a dent in the pile by mid afternoon but was too knackered to do anymore. Those 10"x5" sleepers are heavy.
Steve, aka Birdie would have had this all finished weeks ago,,,come on man chop, chop, busy.busy, work, work
Ha ha there was a brick wall and Tarmac drive there on Monday so I'm pleased with progress but nothing ever gets done as fast as I'd like. I have been working on the back garden as well at the same time.
No, ours are ordered each month and CCW's stock turnover is similar so when I buy they are always very fresh - I meticulously stock rotate using a bin system so my new stock always go in the bottom bin for each belt type. I'm sure this doesn't happen elsewhere like in the warehouses / at Ducati / at Distributors and in most dealers. In fact I saw one Ducati dealer selling old part number belts (not advertised as such) on Ebay year before last that were years old
Got home, into the hotpress to get a towel for my swimming session, noticed flippin water leaking from a valve. Down to screw fix for some bits. I think it's fixed, it's not leaking anymore. Yep, I am confident in my DIY skills. Rippin I missed swimming.
To reduce preasure you could try screeming or something like this. https://www.jtmplumbing.co.uk/image...lve-15mm-22mm-er-prv15-p20110-14831_image.jpg
Yeh I have a pressure reducer at the hot water storage cylinder but I think it's broken. It's reading 5bar. Thing is going to explode
Well it's 6am in Perth as I type and it's been another all-nighter. Just got off the phone to the interstate courier company and the 748R is on time due in tonight. It then has to pass through quarantine (yes that really happens between States here) unpacked Friday morning and so will miss their delivery round and sit in the depot all weekend. So I have to decide whtether to pay a local courier to go and pick it up Friday afternoon so that I have it before the weekend. I am a bit tired, a little irritable ,,, and frankly fucking pissed off my hip prevents me from just borrowing a trailer and going and picking it up myself.
I know if you had a combi boiler you could drain a cup full of water out of the bleed valve on a rad,
No idea what boiler I have, it's a big bugger. I've tried opening a valve in the hotpress, and the water hit the bloody ceiling lol. I'm going to get a new pressure release valve tomorrow. Looks like an easy isolation. Thanks for responding. Appreciate it.
Does your boiler do the hot water and radiators - i.e. a combi - if so release some pressure on a rad bleed valve upstairs...
Yes it heats both hot water for shower etc and heats the radiators. If I open a valve water just shoots out. OK I will run around now and see if they have air in them
But my heating upstairs is pumped separately from downstairs. It didn't work and I've towel full of smelly water
The pressure is in the system - open the bleed valves and the pressure will go down - but water will come out if no air in there now wash your towel
