Cant say what time my arrival will be, cant make mind up about a scenic long haul via Clermont Ferrand or just hit the Autoroutes...probably decide by weather at the time.
Booked today 21 Jan: DaveH Bradders Andy800 Braz Pete1950 I have booked a twin room 19-24 April at £339 (=Euros 385 currently) including taxes, not including breakfast & parking. Anyone want to share with me for half the cost? Let me know.
Eurotunnel ... Journey from Calais to Bouillon is about 3-4 hours according to Google Maps 45 min check-in recommended. "If you check-in within 2 hours either side of your reserved time, within the validity of your ticket you may be offered a space on the next departure with availability without charge." I need to be back home for 5 or 6pm to sort out my kids so that would mean: 19th April Folkstone 12:06 (Local time) arrive Calais 13:41 (FR Time) 24th April Calais 12:20 (Local Time) arrive Folkestone 11:55 (UK Time) Current cost is £88 return OK with everyone?
Thats filled the parking space I've booked then. Can the next person to book please book another parking space. Thanks
I have just remembered that when you book the tunnel you are asked to give the registration number of the vehicle. So you have to decide already which bike you are going to take. Does anybody know whether you can change vehicle later?
Is this a "we've toured/ridden before clique thing" or can anyone jump on board? Serious question, would be willing to commit to this today.
Everybody has a first time to go touring abroad. Anybody who has never done it before can expect lots of welcoming advice and assistance. A short trip to Belgium is a gentle introduction - next year you'll be riding to the Algarve, or Sicily!
