Hi, I have a full set of white OE fairings and a tank taken off my 2000 mile 2014 1199S that I’m thinking of popping on eBay to free up some pennies. However, ebay is awash with race rep/ non OE fairing sets and no tanks, so I’m really struggling to work out what I should be hoping for. Could anyone tell me what these things usually change hands for, please? Or would I better trying to flog them bit by agonising bit? My apologies for the crushingly dull post. I would say to sell separately might raise more cash. The fairings tend to go for anywhere between £250 and £1000, so I would say £4-500 is about right. The tanks actually seem to go for the same again, with a lot selling for £5-600.
Yes, but I think you’d have more luck selling separately... £1k for both is cheap, so should easily go at that if you’re happy at that. Just to add, I’m largely basing this on prices for Red.... I have no idea if there is less or more demand for white.
It does seem cheap to me - but selling a rare colour separate could take ages - someone somewhere will fancy a colour change and keeping it together they can do so without having to paint, and recoup when they swap back - effectively doing it for free.
Didn't someone here recently struggle to sell a tank for £350 ?? I think you lot may be blowing smoke up the OP's 'arris at those prices ....
You need to put it into potential customers minds Find a couple of professional pictures of a white Pani to use as header pictures (highlight they are library pictures to show the end result to keep the knob heads away) add pictures of all the items (using all 12 free pictures available)- run an Ebay ad in Motorcycle - Body Work - Ducati or whatever the category is. Head is - Original white Panigale complete road fairing set including Tank!!! In the description say Fancy a change: a complete colour change with no paint cost. Buy this white set, change back when / if you sell or fancy a further change - then sell it on. simple, cost effective, probably free in the long run! £1200 and invite offers maybe...? It's all about the marketing and pictures used to lure your prey............ Just a thought make them think they neeeed a white one too
