  5. I managed OK doing distance on my 990 SuperDuke when I had it. Having said that, for Gawd’s sake don’t let my stupid comments stand between you and a new bike. I’ve been wondering about a purchase myself as it just doesn’t seem 100% kosher riding a Honda on a trip like this ;-)

  7. Roads around Wiltz in Luxembourg are a must :) Roads around Bouillon are great too in different directions, but trips on twisties to Cochem, Nurburg, Vianden are easy to route.

  8. Agree. If I had a room in my name I would do it, alas hotel wouldn't cooperate so Braz has the 'pleasure' of my company. Let me know if you need a contribution to the parking space if you're paying up front.

  10. 100% comfy, just need MRA touring screen, also fitted Wunderlich bar risers to mine. Comfy as...

    Might buy another this year if a sensible price one comes up! Only downside is appetite for tyres.

  13. Be interested to hear how you guys get on. Had been toying with the idea of the Ardennes area as I’ve got some time off in May. No other reason other than I just fancy checking out some of the museums around Bastogne :upyeah:

  16. If anyone was after a room I had one booked on Booking .com and I just cancelled it . I cant free the time up to make the trip . Posting as I think I read a post that mentioned the Hotel was full.

  18. Not a designer as such but could have a go at a design or two and see if they're deemed suitable. Designed the MV one on 'tother thread. Will try to have a look at it next week.

  19. I am going to book on the same train as @Dave Folkestone to Calais (19 April at 12.06); but coming back Calais to Folkestone I am going to book a later train (24 April at 18.20) because I shall not be under time pressure that day, unlike some other guys.
