Hi I have removed the easily visable parts like mirrors, side farings including the screw under the nose of the front fairing etc - But its very tight against the headlights and wonder if i'm missed a few screws somewhere or are there tangs where the faring meets the headlight that need to be popped.. Anybody done this that can advise me as i dont want to break the front fairing
Yeah, I'd saved about 6 screws when I'd got it all back together.... Just like magic!! I watched a YouTube vid that was quite useful... But stripping all the fairings off for the first time required concentration. Easy enough once you've done it.
"Yeah, I'd saved about 6 screws when I'd got it all back together" Yep just changed over the dummy headlight and tail light waiting for bodywork to come back Quick release sprocket carrier and 520 chain conversion to do while i'm waiting.. Not sure if you've seen these, but might help for uk tracks.. ordered some of these adjustable baffles 35mm dia ones, see if i can get them to fit and see if i can get the akra's down to 102db etc https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321629552467
Ahh haaa.... Where do you get the dummy headlight things? Because the nose and side fairings anchor on this, right? Was thinking of making up a nylon or aluminium bracket. Not bothered about exhaust noise tbh. Mainly do Donington noisy or euro gigs
"Where do you get the dummy headlight things? Because the nose and side fairings anchor on this, right?" Its a part of the Ducati Racing body work kit 97180701A, basically same as oem bodywork but white/blank, comes with front, sides, tail etc and dummy headlight and tail lights + fittings, just need to get it painted/decaled. If you have 3rd party racing fariing (carbon like yours) i assume you have to mount it on a fairing stay , the attach/balance the electronics/IMU etc Yep wil be doing donni defo april/may time, and euro were of to Aragon in 26-29th Sept with NL I've just undone my rear hub large nut, i was expecting 240nm like the one holding on the rear wheel Quite shocked it was finger tight..... removed the metal spring clip, breaker bar on socket , in gear , foot on rear brake, expecting to be tight, nope. must have been all of about 25nm.... Anybody come accross latest Ducati Panigale V4 tourque pdf ? I heard from local duacti store the rear hub pinch bolts have just been reduce to 20nm...!!
