  2. So far today I have been moving furniture so SWMBO can paint it in readiness for our move in February (hopefully). I have shuffled stuff around in my snowboard bag and rucksack in readiness for going to the Alps tomorrow*. And in about 30 mins we are going to meet some friends for lunch and talk about extensions to the new house given our friend Nigel is an architect.

*I will still have access to the forum in the evenings and don't forget @Ducbird will be keeping an eye on things during the day so don't give her a hard time. Ayethangewe :)

  4. Spent a few hours cleaning the caked salt off the zed. Cerakote is untouched on the exhaust ( i deliberately let it get on there and then dry on to test the finish ). Fixed the flasher on the switch gear (been like it for ages) just where the weather has gotten in over the years...took the switchgear apart and given a thorough clean out.

  6. Packaged the watch I bought to go back as it’s not keeping time.

Stopped a pikey beating the f@ck out of a cyclist, did the right thing by intervening while others drove/walked past. Expected a smack in the face and didn’t get one :upyeah:
Even after I grabbed the lump of wood from him and pulled him away by his arm.

Got stuck in traffic heading down to Cribbs to an appointment for the Geek squad to try and sort my 18m old iPad pro. Irreparable so new replacement with no fuss. :bucktooth:

Wandering around with wife, wandered into E Jones to try on some watches for my birthday, the one I though I wanted I didn’t like as much, asked for 20% and got it so new Seamaster purchased :D

    Crazy day.

Shame birthday isn’t until December o_O

  14. That’s what I like about them, a tough reliable watch that’s still cuts it with a suit, on those rare occasions!

Been messing about on the computer trying to get Google drive to sink with my phone, eventually its working , it now says it is downloading over 5,000 pics and videos and at the rate its going I think the computer will have to be left on all night!! Computers do not always do what I want them to do.

  19. woke up with a thick head after going out last night for a friends 45th birthday . Got up about 10;30 and spent a lot of the day on the sofa feeling sorry for myself . Went into the garage this afternoon and cleaned the chain on the monster as it was going rusty in spots .
Off out tonight with a few people from work for another birthday do . The trouble is I'm 20 years older than some of them! . Feeling old .

  20. Spent all day loading a builders skip with CRAP from my dads house - started in the garden as my sister wont let me empty inside until he is buried...

The house and garden are like steptoes yard... he was a hoarder.... We were not close ... this is the first of probably 20 skips... to empty the house and get it on the market so I can split it 4 ways with my other brothers and sisters...

COLD and WET ... about to have a bath to warm up... then out with the Family for an Indian for my 50th Birthday...

Not too much to drink though as back there for round 2 tomorrow... oh joy...
