V4 Monster?

Discussion in 'Monster' started by nath, Jan 26, 2019.

  1. So I was at a Ducati dealer today and the sales manager was telling me that he reckons they’ll be a V4 monster with the details being released in October!

    Anyone else heard similar info?

  2. No chance. V4 Streetfighter is next.

  4. A V4 monster or street fighter would be ace

  5. The V4 Streetfighter was delayed for a year, not sure why :eyes:

  6. He has his opinion but it will probably be wrong.
Would you think that Ducati would be telling a salesman in the UK what they intend to do in 10 months time?

  7. Perhaps they need to sort all the V4 recalls before they launch another bike with that motor in it

  8. This has been built by an Italian custom design company. Obviously one or two.... errmm.. interesting design touches but still the basis is there for a cracking bike.

  9. I cannot believe they are exploiting a woman's sexuality behind the bike instead of in front of it

  13. 959 replacement in V4 form first?

I asked my dealer about chances of a baby V4 superbike when there was the 2019 webcast (before the event), and he said Ducati had said 2019 model year would be relatively quiet, but Ducati had said something big was coming for 2020...

  14. Could be worse...

  15. They've already confirmed the at V4 will not go into a mid range bike, it's an expensive engine and wouldn't be cost effective.

  16. Have a look at the video on the website...if you think she is no oil painting then I suggest a visit to Specsavers.

  17. Thanks, hadn't heard that. Interesting. Means they have to maintain the monocoque-design superquadro (or it's L2 replacement) though - so two engine lines, vs. one of different capacities?

  18. Yeah saw that on instagram, looks quite nice although if they'd kept the forks standard and gone with a different colour I'd like it more
