So what have you done today..?

  1. Today is a "paperwork day" however yesterday was fun:)

    Went out on the bike for the first proper run of the year 135 miles all was good and even got some food along the way.
    we called in to "On Your Bike" along the way but they were closed :-(

  3. I thought the same so that's why I'm now at home .
    Not a good idea to drive about.

    Strange thing is I try never to sit in the back of a car.
    since a young child I've suffered car sickness.
    happy as anything on a bike always have been.
    But can't cope with cars unless I sit up front with window open.
    If I drive I'm fine.
    Buses and coaches are a no no as well.

  6. Just stripped the exhaust on the Duke. It had started blowing from one of the joints,bloody took ages but must have saved me a packet on Ducati labour charges. :upyeah:

  7. Tidied the house, cleaned the van and had a potter round the garden. This weather's killing me; the fuglystrada's sat there gleaming, but I couldn't get an MOT booked til tomorrow. What a waste:frown:

  8. 2 1/2 hr meander with the missus, where we came up with the realisation its now just us; son at college and uni next year so we really do just have us to do anything with. Then the bolt hits, that means we have to enjoy each others company :eek: shocker

  9. Started timbering a roof on a bungalow today, I was the youngest on site at age 60, two builders 67 and 68 and a laborer 62. looks like I will have to keep going a few more years yet.

  10. I had quite a productive day. Or at least I thought I had been productive until I received a bunch of questions (that I'd already answered incidentally) from the latest batch of US space cadets. And when I point out the answers that I've already given all I get is a little gigle and a pathetic apology for asking again. Why can't people read what they are given in the first instance? Grrrr
