I've just spent the worse day of my life on a bike riding 6 hours , 140miles in sleet and snow in Germany coming home from the elephant rally , I'm currently in a room with a Belgium watching YouTube and a German snoring , We all fell off at some stage , soaking wet through so gave up and grabbed a hotel . The same tomoorw by the looks of it , although I've a bed not in a minus 15c snowy tent . I'll do my best to do a write up with pics .
This has been a fun day for me. After running a couple of errands, I am currently sitting in my car at a coffee shop, drinking a fancy coffee drink, using their WiFi. It is my birthday and my husband had not given me any grief for spending so much time on the forum earlier today and talking about it. I think that has been part of his gift to me. The other part is a red North Face jacket to be delivered this week. Now I will head home to watch the Patriots win the Superbowl. That would be a great way to end my day. It amazes me how devoted the Vikings fans are. They show up year after year only to be let down when the the team makes it then chokes and end up losing. Fans bad mouth them until the next season starts then they do it all again. Isn't that the definition of insanity?
Caught the morning ferry to the UK. Why? Got to paint my daughter’s flat . Still, on the bright side I’ve never been to the Bike Shed so I’ll probably pay a visit there .
