Thanks. As I said I’ve not had a chance to poke around and the bike needs run in anyway but having looked at R and G crash bung install instructions , which I’m not fitting, it’s not as simple as the two bolts that attach the cover to that bracket. Thanks for your input.
Oh, the R&G ones are a nightmare (and ugly too). My 1299 came with them on from a previous owner and the dealer was most upset when I asked them to remove them as a condition of the sale (due to the time they apparently take).
Yeah I ruled them out as I didn’t like the look of them and the fact you had to dismantle half the bike to fit them!
