1970's 750gt Wanted.

I am interested to purchase a 750GT. Preferably a UK supplied bike with history but would consider an overseas purchase for the right machine.
Having fond memories of the one I owned in the late 1970's, I would like another before my riding days are over.

Thanks Andy, yes I'm aware of the various scams operating and have noticed a recent spate of them. I sold an R90s a few years back and a few weeks later my cloned advert and photos appeared on fleabay. The best one I saw was a large (and expensive) colour ad in the Sunday Times for a 911 that on investigation was the "oil rig worker, send the money and I'll get it delivered" scam. I reported it to the ST but they weren't interested.

 

Thanks for that Wassy. There was a recent fully restored one for sale in London and another advertised now. However I'd prefer a good useable machine with history rather than something almost too good to ride.

Thanks Borgo, my son is just on his way there, but unfortunately knows nothing about Ducatis!

 

He is 4 months into his 6 months away and has had plenty of excess already....
