Great news! Me and Mrs M are really happy it all worked out well for you and SWMBO in the end. Following your move journey has really put me off moving for 5h3the next 10-15 years if I can help it
Can't fault you Terry To be honest, our last one was a nightmare too... Not quite as much as your story but it's all easily forgotten when you've moved and got settled. Your journey just brought the memories and stress of it all flooding back. It's your turn for coffee in the garden following a ride out this year
Got stressed.... litigation papers regarding divorce settlements. After a lovely but cold ride outwith my buddy along the south coast.
Went to work, sent and received emails, talked to people (not always willingly),came home - got stuck in traffic jam but probably had a better day than the poor person in the ambulance - took picture of motorcycles. Now watching 24 hours in A&E (nobody has fallen off a ladder this week)
Well done, hope you’re not too long in limbo but at least your bank account will look healthy in the mean time. Set your watch and time how long it takes your bank to call you offering a derisory interest rate on your money.
Finally found a hotel, owner got out of bed to let me in the building even gave me cakes and a beer I guess I look shagged, I’m at the start of the Pyrenees I guess am way past Pamplona anyway....day after getting ripped off down south this fella has restored my faith in humanity top top man....must remember to collect my passport in the morning though oh and pay
Just finished our hall stairs and landings. Encapsulated leaded lights, and multi fuel burner are the next projects.
Woke up here, fantastic motorway hostel but like a 3 star hotel, just brilliant I’m i the Pyrenees I think with the biggest tuna baguette, I imagine this is bike friendly, I had to cross a footbridge as I’m heading north but this place is southbound, looks like parking round the back for bikes, no English spoke yet though so hand movements
Answered the door to the postie with my new £57 clutch holding tool, to enable me to change the clutch in the Hyperstrada. The trouble is that I was so impatient the other day, I did the job without it. Now I have this £57 tool that I can think of no discernable use for. It has a great big hole in the middle of it, so is no good as a coaster for holding my Donald Duck brew.
