?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  2. Sorry, but what are you on about? The key fact is the very low current unemployment rate of 4% (France at 9.2% I believe, by comparison). Not exactly what Vote Leave predicted would happen to employment and growth!

The unemployment rate in the UK fell to 4 percent in the three months to November 2018, its lowest level since the 1970s and slightly below market expectations of 4.1 percent. The number of unemployed rose by 8,000 on the quarter while employment increased by 141,000. Average weekly earnings including bonuses rose 3.4 percent on the year, their biggest rise since the three months to July 2008; excluding bonuses, wages grew 3.3 percent, the most since the end of 2008.

  3. hmm, what i seen was Peter Bone MP miss quote Tusk, "insert reason here" in Parliament and the speaker asserting there is jack shit he can do about that. i even provided the actual quote, and low and behold, BBC Scotland used the miss quote twice in the two builtins i drive through on my commute. and not a single word on Ross Thompson MP lil incident last night.
we have been here before when the bbc and press miss quoted sturgion in a similar way about something she said about breziteers. always with the shit stirring.

  5. I don't disagree really, but the speaker could have just said 'I can't do anything about that', but he didn't - to me he defended Tusk.
We will have to agree to disagree.

I like listening to the BBC and SKY now for entertainment, just to see who has twisted or misquoted someone to their ends in the most entertaining way.
SKY win with their polls though.

  7. I feel sorry for those that are retired in the EU and now left uncertain about the future health costs. But with such an imbalance of nearly 3 to 1, it is again in the EU's favour to retain the present reciprocal arrangements. Even in the event of no deal Brexit.

Youth unemployment is pretty shocking in some countries and with 11.5% in the UK, we need to put our apprenticeship training programmes on Steroids.

  9. I love it when Nicola says ‘Ousteritee’ in that beautiful accent of hers. I have tried to locate this word in the OED but I cannot find it. Maybe somebody here can help me out ?

  15. Not quite so simple, lets take Greece.
    1) Greece has two main parties both of whom are corrupt and incompetent as they alternate in government.
    2) Fucking useless EU bureaucrats let them join EU not being able to assess Greece is a bag of shit.
    3) Now with backing of EU Greece gets preferential interest rates.
    4) Banks fall over themselves lending to Greece with loans backed by the EU
    5) Greece spends like there is no tomorrow and pass totally stupid budgets to buy votes, completely unable to repay them.
    6) When Greece goes bankrupt they want loans written off but Germany wants austerity to pay for any bail out (even though Germany made massive profits from the Greek spending spree).
    7) The working classes suffer the austerity imposed by Germany, which will carry on for years.

So in this scenario the EU is complicit in the lead up to and eventual failure of Greece.

Other countries are in same boat but not to same extent.
