Dark Lord of Project Fear (Carney) casts doom spell on the UK economy with 25% chance of Recession and 1.2% growth prediction 2019. EU seems to also been struck by Brexitosis: There was in fact another set of 2019 forecasts also released this morning – by the European Commission. The EU actually upgraded Britain’s 2019 forecast to 1.3% – the same as France, Belgium, Sweden and the Eurozone as a whole. Struggling Germany is lagging behind on 1.1% while Italy is down on 0.2%. Despite… Brexit?
There was one in Bracklesham Bay. My mates and I launched an artillery strike on it one November. Minimal damage inflicted though.
Needs a sub for the fulll article but you’ll get the gist of it from the first couple of paragraphs https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politic...t-taxes-slash-tariffs-secret-plan-kick-start/ I’ll believe it when I see it.
strange old world init? i look forward to yer bitching in the next pothole, bike crime not safe to walk the streets thread.
I don’t live in Glasgow mate. I reckon £39bn goes a long way. We might even send some of it up to you if you behave yourselves.
careful, she is a QC. anyways i know your not from Glasgow pilotpaul, its obvious.. but, if low crime was one of your priorities in life, i am sure you would be made most welcome, for a while at least.
Unfortunately nothing will happen now until the next votes on the 14th. The EU sees this as the opportunity for no deal Brexit to be killed off and they will just sit and wait. With that result, they will have won and we'll be left with the dreadful deal, £39 billions paid for what? Then onto the humiliation of negotiating a protracted trade deal against the conflicting demands from the 27. Not what I voted for! Somehow, no deal Brexit needs to be kept alive; it will lead to either a significant concession from the EU if they see us heading there (with tax reductions, etc) or, we escape with some chaos but freedom to push ahead without restrictions. I know what I favour and this forum has voted that way too!
Course it is finm I’m just busting your b*lls. I’m sure you are aware that we have a serious knife crime issue in London, we need more cops and that needs hard cash. We have an opportunity to transform the country for the better, getting inward investment is vital to that to increase the overall tax base and tax revenue. Why do you think all the Tech companies went to Dublin ? It wasn’t for the Guinness. It was for the tax incentives and other sweeteners. I was part of it. Time to be brave. The world is changing fast, we need to keep up.
She will drag that out too, The final meeting of the 28 is at the end of the month, god knows why but it is being held at sharm el shiek..honest the eu is not seeking to control the middle east too https://www.consilium.europa.eu/en/meetings/international-summit/2019/02/24-25/ That is her very last kick of the can and the last time the 28 meet before we leave
you watch question time? you sad fuck, and maybes the origins of yer frustration?. tho i see its from Motherwell and Fiona Hyslop is on. hmm, 61.1% remain, an SNP MSP and MP held constituency with a high turn out for yes on the door step of the Yes City of Glasgow. with only 14% labour no kippers hardly any torys. it might be an interesting and relevant watch for me this time. or, maybe i will just stick a blue rosette on my forehead while ramming a hot picker up my arse instead.
