British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Well based on the polls either the Labour people disagree with you and think those qualities are fine (unlikely), or they disagree that Corbyn is all or any of those things.

  2. Until it happens then most remainers will hang onto labour. Once it's completed and they can't change or stop it then using labour becomes a bit like having a steakhouse frequent miles card for a vegan.

I wouldn't agree, the country is pretty split down party lines with an apathy of the floating voters and to those Corbyn is a brussel sprout, unpalatable

  3. I couldn’t give 2 s*its what polls think. Most decent folk are seeing through this repulsive little man and his sidekick Johnny Mc. The fact this wally polls lower than possibly the worst Tory PM & Government in history says it all. The only poll that matters is a GE and I doubt very much he’d win outright.

As for his loyal supporters ? Repeat after me - it’s not a cult.

  4. I suspect others don't give much thought to what you and those who you describe as decent folk think about Corbyn either?

  5. I think it's a fair point that with one of the worst tory governments in some time, pushing the biggest thing remainers do not want (brexit), if he couldn't crack that nut in 2017, he's not going to be able to crack it in 2022 with brexit done.

  6. I couldn’t care less mate. Anyone who backs this idiot needs examining. Don’t take my word for it, ask his PLP colleagues.

  7. You certainly could be right.

The swing voters are the only ones that wll make a difference. We will have to see who is able to attract them. Much will depend on how the Cons reform if there is a deal which keeps the UK in close ties with the EU. Will the ERG go balistic? I don't think they will but they might.

  9. No, I’d say much much worse - but in her defence Jezza keeps much worse company. He’s a wrong’un. Always has been.

Just imagine if Labour had a human as leader. They’d be a dead cert. We live in mad times.

  10. I feel some have misunderstood the ERG. The ERG are not against close ties with the eu, they simply want to leave the control of the eu project, they have never been anti european countries or anti european people

  11. Well if thats true - its one of the best kept secrets ever! How is it that most people don't realise this?

  12. Which brings me back to my earlier post, both May & Corbyn could be swept away in the year following the Brexit conclusion.

  13. Amazing how many STILL believe everything they read in the Mail and Express.

  19. They see JRM at the head and make assumptions in a way they would not make about lady Nugee because she continues to hide her family wealth

They should listen to our very own Karl Pilkington instead ay duke :D

  20. FPTP will make that a very difficult thing to achieve. Neither Labour nor the Conservatives want to lose their two party system.

Personally I would like to see PR and a host of other parties.
