  3. London Bike Show today, these were on Extreme Trading's stand along with an MHe and Paul Smart. Lots of other Ducatis there so more photos to come...

  4. Some nice stuff . Really liked the R7, not seen one up close before .

  5. They're cool aren't they? I'm an RC45 fan myself (dreamer not owner) so that obviously had my vote. I thought the pricing was weird though, most of the bikes were at the top end of market but all the stuff in my previous post seemed way over the top e.g. £23k for a 10,000mile 851SP2 that wasn't particularly clean.

    Here's the MHe.

We also took a while on the Ducati stand (even though none of us are Ducati owners anymore. The V4 Panigale R looked super cool but WTF is that colour about? It looks bright red in the photo but isn't, it is to bright red what off-white is to white.....so off-red? We thought they'd mixed the wrong colour up for a show bike but one of the other Panigales was the same colour. Shame. IMG_4104A.jpg

  6. They are mainly bike they import from Japan I think. They have had 2 import 996R's for sale on Ebay for over a year @ £25K

  7. Pretty sure you're correct. Just seems odd that the Ducatis all seem wildly overpriced whereas most of the rest of the stock seemed to be "top money". The RC45 was £35k, expensive but ball park. The RC30 was high £20ks - I think it was £28k, again achievable. However £23k for an SP2 seems over the top. The 888 SP5 (I think) was also similar money. Maybe I'm out of date with pricing? The MHe was £20k and the Paul Smart was similar money - aren't these normally low teens?

To his credit though, everything had a price on it so there's no mucking about. There's too much "£ask" on the kit stalls there now so it was good to see this all priced up.

  8. Your constant bleating reminds me when my youngest daughter was going through her awkward teenage years, the way she went on with herself you’d have sworn being a vegetarian was a big political movement, when in fact it was just dinner.
It’s only a forum, get over it.

  9. Can we start a seperate "Scrambler" thread (forum?), as some of us (me) don't consider them as Ducati's?
Sorry to anyone who likes them. Man bun and stroke beard types. Brown leather satchel and Waxed cotton jacket a must.

  10. By Goat man, what medication are they giving you?
I reacted badly to Tramadol. I think you may be having a similar experience and not realise it yet.

  11. Excuse me, but I consider my Scrambler as very much a Ducati. No beard and no brown leather, though I believe I have a 40 year-old waxed cotton jacket somewhere ...

  13. So the current Scramblers aren't built in the Ducati factory in Borgo Panigale? Has anyone told Claudio yet?

  14. Yeah, too right. Then we’ll get rid of those nasty Monsters cos they haven’t got acres of plastic to hide behind (like a “proper” Ducati) for riders who are not manly enough to cope with a little battering from the wind. Then once we’ve got that sorted, we’ll get rid of those over size fat boy Diavels cos they often aren’t painted red and don’t pretend to be a racer. Not sure about those gimmicky V4 things either, everybody knows that a “proper” Ducati is an L twin (not a V twin mind). And then there’s that water cooling, should only be used Jap shite, not on a “proper” Ducati……..

  16. Multistrada! Don’t get me started on the bloody Multistrada. We’re talking “PROPER” Ducatis here, not something with suspension travel that might soak up more than a speck of dust in the road and a saddle that’s lower than the handlebars. I mean for christ’s sake you could probably ride a Multistrada for at least a mile before getting chronic back ache. Really, what is the point of that!
