I've always had decent levers fitted on all my previous bikes all various different makes and style, ie 2 fingered, long, cnc machined, foldable etc etc, but does anyone have any recommendations or any to avoid for my 1299s?? Just curious
i use the TWM levers, i believe they are as good as the DP levers. i crashed on the left side, lever end broke as designed and the rest of the lever and master cylinder as fine. i bought mine from BDS, circe 70 each http://www.bikersdiscountstore.co.u...ducati-folding-brake-clutch-levers-pd-162.php
TWM are DP levers (for the 899 upto 1299 anyway). Just a fair bit cheaper without the Ducati engraving. Got then on mine..
Do they come with the ‘pins’ that go into the master cylinder or do you need to use the ones from the original levers.
From what I remember they come with them. If you shop around you can get them without inscriptions like the BDS on Biker's discount etc. I think it was Race Spares UK that I got mine. They are are based in Alfreton and the owner is called Simon.. I think Drbikes near Amersham sell them too?
No problem They're good levers They do short and standard length. TWM make them for Ducati They're part of the Marchesini family. The Ducati levers are only available in standard length. The shorter ones aren't stupidly short.. They're what I have and like. I also have them on my RSV4
Funnily enough I have some German V-Trec Vario levers for a 1299 for sale if of any interest; pm me. They're new and unused. https://www.v-trec.com/en/ I bought them off here for my 1199 but they don't fit - I'll be buying the correct ones for my bike as they seem very good quality and are adjustable for span and length, flip up etc.
