Hi guys, This is my FIRST Ducati! I was about to buy the SSS a few weeks earlier and all set for it. When suddenly a 2017 MTS 1200S + SH, with 822miles on the clock, appreared at the dealership nearby. Dropped the cash and collecting it on Saturday. I dont know if this is the same forum for the SSS, it's getting a bit confusing as I introduced myself then. Story so far: The SSS was a beautiful bike but for the price I was getting a barely used MTS 1200 S + SH (£11K) which I think is a steal. No panniers or anything. Didnt even test ride it just dropped the cash as I knew I wouldnt get anything for that price and miles. Anyone else in Scotland? Would like to meet some of yous over the coming weekends and gain some knowledge on what I have gotten myself into. Accessories piled up in the living room so far: 1. EVOTECH radguard/oil guard/ engine guard 2. GIVI satnav screen bar 3. Quadlock adapter to use with GIVI bar to center the phone. Things I am pondering about: 1. Tank Bag 2. USB power sourcing 3. Suspension adjustments 4. Better windscreen ? 5. Crash bars? 6. Paint protection? Love to hear from you , though I know topic are covered, but as these forums have like gazzillion posts I get tired searching and reading every single comment in them. Thanks for reading. Ride safe!
Welcome, I'm in Aberdeenshire so you may be close or quite far away? I have a ST4 so not much help with electronic jiggery pokery associated with Multi
Hi, welcome . I'm in Glasgow, where about are you in Scotland? Not sure what an "sss" is, but the multi s should adjust your suspension on the go.
I am getting a bit worried now ! hahah! Hello Hello mate, in Aberdeen. The SSS is the Supersport S. Hello mate, in Aberdeenshire as well. Member of the Grampian Motorcycle Club by any chance? OK now I am weary of @finm I don't have the pictures just yet as collecting the bike on Saturday
Not a member of any clubs - I only get to commute occasionally these days so fair weather and part time There's a guy building/modifying an ST2 in the area too so like minded company around
Hi. I did the opposite. I sold my MTS1200 and bought a new Supersport. I have no regrets I'm in Angus by the way. I seem to remember you asking before when you were first looking at buying a Supersport.
