British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Agree, and it won’t change.
Is it fair to include their expenses and say considering they’re earning around £200K a year they should all be sacked ?

  4. Seems to me that the politicians are doing all they can to make sure the U.K. doesn’t leave without a deal.
Forgive me if I’m wrong, but I’d say remaining would be a better option than leaving with the deal on offer ?

  5. Privatisation of the NHS seems to be more to do with politicians making (even more) money ?

I know it’s an old article but...

  6. FFS man, we can't be having a sensible course of action for the good of the country!
Brexit means Brexit! Leave means Leave! Will of the people! etc.

  7. I’m not saying remain is sensible or the best option.
    We either leave or remain.
Personally I think we should leave.

  11. Latest headlines seem to be along the lines of.

MP’s say they will stamp their feet until they get what they want.

Big business leaders today said that as of Monday they will hold their breath until the U.K. agree to remain.

  12. I have just decided:

The Establishment is going to fuck us over with "Brexit". "No Deal", more accurately known as "Leaving", will not happen.

If May cannot get the EU's Withdrawal Agreement in place by 29 March (with or without the "lizard's tail" Backstop ruse intact), Brexit will be delayed until the UK has been sufficiently softened up and ready to accept the WA. I think the WA will go ahead though.

Expect some "extraordinary national/international events" over the next few weeks which will be used to muddy the waters, to delay "certain important decisions" and to assist the Remainer government in achieving its aims and goals.

TBH, it will be a relief never having to vote for anything ever again.

  14. If you don’t vote you have let the establishment beat you.
The next election is possibly the most important in recent UK history: so many politicians and establishment/media figures have openly campaigned against democracy, shown their contempt for the electorate, and used their wealth and position to undermine their own country, your vote is critical if we ever want to rid ourselves of these political and civil service parasites.

  15. Yes, but who do I vote for, who’s going to do anything different?

  16. The problem will be that we will only be able to vote for different flavours of globalists. Do you want the left-leaning Conservative globalists, the Far-Left Labour globalists, the lean-shed LibDem globalists or the "Independent" globalists?

If, somehow, a real Brexit candidate stands in my constituency, I will vote for it ... but I imagine it will be futile. My constituency has been voting in Tory shrubs and cardboard cut-outs since forever.

OK. One more vote after the Brexit betrayal. That's all I will promise at this point : o )
