So first thing this morning I picked up my scrambler from Ducati Manchester who’ve been storing it for me for the past few weeks. Then I fitted a new light fitting (see pic), then I hung about 10 pictures around the house (not finished that job yet as there are a few we don’t know where to put). Then I went to introduce myself to a new neighbour across the road who has 3 bikes in his garage (bmw nineT cafe racer, Honda grom and a Honda trials bike) and I’ve been sorting my clothes and wardrobe and chest of drawers space........and now I’ve had enough and I’m watching the rugby.
A good investment if the right model motorbike, but it will hurt your body if not riding on fast roads
Yeah there’s the rub. The multi is a doddle to ride, sat on the SS, it seems a little less track focused.
Bought a couple of torque wrenches from halfords ( the ones mentioned on another thread) saved £30 with the trade card. Was supposed to hit the workshop but got side tracked and draged to the pub.. only had 2 but that killed the working on the bike... Also gave away a jacket I just bought as I'm too fat for it and my skinny mate fell in love with it...
Took the Multistrada for a ride out went to Barmouth came back via Portmadog and Bets y coed then a steady run down the A5 bike running superbly traffic was remarkable light what a great day
Bought a battery maintenance charger from Halfords, £25 so not expecting much joy, it’s plugged into the rvf in the house, Dougal helped he’s a good boy. We also had a lovely curry st Stamford bridge ( North Yorkshire) after delivering some sofas to place off the a64 near malton absolutely beautiful area that you would never know existed unless you were delivering sofas, be fantastic riding a bike around that area but not a sports bike
Got up, went outside to shovel snow and fill bird feeders. Went inside ate breakfast, fed dogs, trimmed their nails. Went out to the garage to move stuff from boxes to plastic bins. Husband came home from work, we ate lunch. He fell asleep on living room chair, I slept on the couch. After two hours we woke up and went outside, he plowed snow and I shoveled...again We have gotten 2 feet of snow within the past two weeks.Tomorrow's forecast is extreme cold, snow and blizzard conditions. They are advising no travel and may be closing roads. So we also moved the last of stuff from the basement down to the barn while it is decent outside. Now the basement is ready for the contractor to start remodel on Monday.
In comparison to the rest of the world we get a bit of drizzle now and again with the odd cold day. We don’t suffer the extremes that a lot of places do.
I am, however that is downstairs into the garden, it’s a split level house so the main door is the next floor 5 stairs up...actually can just squeeze past the bike though, it’s showing two geeen lights on the charger so I’ll try fire her up soon, next door works shifts so will wait a while as not sure if he is nights.
Visited ikea early this morning and bought some storage to go inside the wardrobes. It all went together really well and only took about 30 minutes to put together Done a couple of small jobs too (couple more pictures hung) and now that’s me done for the day. Ordinarily I’d go out in the bike but I can honestly say I’m fecked and need a snooze.
Not much really. Should've washed the Hyper, it's filthy after a week of commuting in the drizzle on and off, but 14 degrees out and wet, so just mooched around and cooked a huge lasagne. Flowers for @Ducbird
Just been out on the 5jj r1 , amazes me every time I go on it it’s still lovely to ride even though it’s nearly 20 years old
