Come on then....we've all been there and experienced the sinking feeling of "I thought it would look great/be useful, but in reality it looks crap/doesn't work/isn't as useful as I thought it would be" I got over-excited between order and delivery dates and bought a dust cover.....its nice but really?! A dust cover?! What have you bought that makes you blush just thinking about it?
Gold Gilles rearsets. The rearsets are great and the quality is fantastic, but I got them cheap because they were ex-display......and GOLD! One day, I'll see if I can get them re-anodised black
I bought a Harley sportster 1200 - does that count? I also had a wallet attached by a chain OMG - I'm off to bleach my memory
Yes....thats a big one! Wallet on chain has a certain 'pocket watch' element to it.....I'm sure we could forgive you if under garments weren't on display over the top of trousers
ALL Ducati's deserve a dust cover, I hope that your garage is still tidy , walls painted and heater/dehumidifier now fitted
My record has been pretty good in my 14 years on bikes. I think I ruined it last month though. Ok, it was only £3.80 but I bought red wheel tape to put on the Corse. Now I have the bike home I think it'll look better stock so I'm going to leave it on the shelf.
R&G crash bungs for my brand new GSXR 1000. They supplied the incorrect length bolts which ended with my threads being ripped out on my engine when I torqued them up to the specified setting. They admitted the error but would not take any responsibility for the damage caused. Ask me if I would ever buy their products EVER again..........
a set of yoshimura cans (from the usa )for the sp1 that when fitted looked amazing but were alarm activating loud,i mean lealllllyyyyyy loud. lasted a week and sold them.
Cheers for that measured comment. You'll see I said I'm not putting it on after realising I think it will look crap.
