Buggered up my back - pulled a muscle in lower back - laid on sofa with a frozen bag of sweet corn on the worst bit waiting for chiropractor to open - hurts like hell just walking - oh and new lawnmower due to be delivered today
Just keep an eye on it. It could be mine was old (10+ years) and maybe the component inside which regulates how much charge it send out had failed.
Lol, here in NZ when you get a DCM(don't come monday), you also get tuesday-friday off as well, for ever!
E-mailed MR first thing to see if they had a V4 wing mirror in stock. A quick trip down to Winchester and back and have now fitted said replacement wing mirror. Time for a spot of lunch (been naughty, got flaky pastry sausage rolls) then fire the V4 up and get out in this lovely weather. Andy
So far today I've.............. 1. Changed my contact details with my bike insurance - relatively easy but costs money 2. Registered the new address with the local council - relatively easy 3. Spent 2 hours on the phone with BT trying to get my land line, broadband and BT Sport connected. I ordered this all on the 5th February, had a note of who I spoke to, where they were based and what time I spoke to them, I also had confirmation order numbers and references, had spoken to two members of their customer services team a week or so ago (as they had put back installation to March) and STILL the fuckwits manage to get it wrong and claim that they'd never received an order from me. If I'd not rung this morning I'd be blissfully unaware that nothing was going to happen. BT AND ALL WHO WORK FOR THEM NEED TO BE PUT INTO A LEAD LINED CONTAINER AND DROPPED TO THE BOTTOM OF THE DEEPEST OCEAN. I HAVE NEVER COME UP AGAINST SUCH INCOMPETENCE IN ALL MY LIFE. 4. On the plus side I've just booked my next Ron Haslam Race School day for the 19th June.
No access to the cranes today due to pressure testing. So I've spent most of the day scrolling through posts on here.
Pulled the blankets off the Desert Sled, unplugged the optimate and it fired up straight away. Forgot how uncomfortable the seat is. Where is the temperature censor located? As it was 21/22c the whole ride. It was a beutiful afternoon but not that, at best 18c.
I went to a local "Antique Evaluation" day in Halifax. I was advised that I own a pencil once owned by William Shakespeare, but he chewed it a lot, so I can't tell if it's 2B or not 2B
Stupidly warm this afternoon so having enjoyed reasonable conditions this morning decided to pack up and drink beer this afternoon. On the plus side caught up with some old friends who I've got to know out here over the last 25 plus years and sadly also heard about one who is no more but I guess that is the way life goes as you get older. Now time to get ready for tonight's visit to one more local hostelries.
Schoolboy error there Steve... You should have walked much too quickly for her to keep up which in turn would have allowed ample time for a cheeky one in the local on the way home whilst she caught up!
