749 Bolt That Screws Into The Headlight Bucket????

  1. Does anyone have a name I can google for this bolt or a part number?
    It screws into the r/h/s of the headlight bucket, the nose fairing bolts to it.

  3. It's called a Screw, Special on the parts list - try Googling: Special Screw :eyes:

    Part number was 68410571A and was superseded to 68410571B

  4. They are quite common, I have one on my kitchen lamp you can have :blush:

    If it comes off without snapping :scream:

    I was bloody lucky to get the nose fairing off, the whole fastener started turning straight away, I thought this is gonna get messy. I had to remove the plastic cover under the light and then I just managed to get a finger on it to stop it turning while I undid the nose fairing bolt.
    @Exige thanks for the offer but don`t destroy your kitchen light, you won`t be able to see your cornflakes when you`re sat at your Sterilgarda breakfast bar ;):grinning:
