Today is my birthday, well actually it’s not because being an awkward bugger, I was born on 29th Feb but as there is not one of those this year, it’s today, so got up to a slew of FB messages, a video call from my daughter studying in Oz & a weird looking box that I’m not allowed to open yet. I doubt it’s the drone that I actually wanted as the wife thinks that stuff’s for kids but we live in hope. Could be the Alpinestar boots...ahh the anticipation

Agreed with a mate several days ago to go for a ride today. Got wet and the bike is filthy. Had a nice ride though and stopped off at the Riverside at Benson. Fair warning, the beef chilli nachos is most definitely a sharer. Andy

Well I didn’t get the drone, apparently I’m neither a child, a prison runner or a terrorist & therefore don’t need one. However I do finally own some Alpinestar boots, a Matt Ryan NFL shirt & 2 tickets for Brit Floyd so can’t complain! Thanks everyone for the good wishes. At last it is done. Very gradual rehab, can't sit on a sportsbike for 6months with feet on the pegs as angle of femur to torso must be greater than 90 degrees to avoid dislocation whilst it beds down.
Today I had a shit day at work... well actually that was yesterday ...but I got home to find my lil bro ( who has just gone back to his home In china) bought me a go pro 7 black....an early b'day present....
