1198 Titanium Axle Wheel Nuts ... Yes Or No

  6. Zinc looks crap imo and corrosion will happen again.
    Titanium is pricey but its a ducati so worth it lol

  7. Try podium racing in the states. When I changed mine (998 small axle) they were by far the cheapest. Less then one week delivery too.

  8. my sixpenneth is watch the wheel side one if its that coned nut as you are directly turning the cone against the wheel when tightening rather than a separate nut and cone which if i was putting these on i would use two of the sprocket side nuts with the original cone and washer...

  12. Ok so another question lol can you get stainless steel spring clips for the wheel nuts ?
     
  13. Sprocket side nut changed but can't budge the wheel side nut ffs ... Long breaker bar on order lol
    Maybe a new chain next lol

  14. Solution for undoing is an impact wrench. Subject discussed in several posts and there are several options. I use a DeWalt DCS889 18v cordless but you can get air and mains voltage wrenches depending on your budget, just so long as you get one delivering 350Nm. Andy
     
  15. Yeah . I have an 18v and air impact wrench and both doesn't budge it :(

    18v is upto 250 nm and air is 300nm I think

  17. Clarke CEW1000. 450Nm torque. Does the job on my nuts.
