  1. It is the same part I think, so yea. Can you measure the amount of play and let us know?

  2. Not too easy to measure but I'd say it's under 1mm.

  3. Don't worry too much guys, mine is waaaay over 1mm. So something is not quite right

I just need some pictures and recomendations now, it's either a stock rebuid or a nice carrier etc.....

    Thanks Anth

  4. Sure this came up before and it was a case of "they all do that sir"...

  5. I knew they floated, but mines is more like surfing on a tsunami

  6. Just given the evo a wiggle - maybe 2mm of rock?
I remember my old 848 was a slack as a dockside tramp on pay day..

  7. Yeah, a few people have said theirs is quite free, but I've never noticed it before, not that cleaning my chain is my favourite hobby, but this time I noticed it straight away.

  8. Give yr dealer or Phil at MR a shout mate. Might be worth a call before you start spending.

  9. The nearest dealer up here is sh*te, so it would be Moto Rapido or Ducati Glasgow, both of which have been very helpful in the past and I've had parts from both.

I've decided it's got a problem, I'm just unsure which way to go.
There doesn't appear to be much in the way of aftermarket stuff available, other than quick release sprockets.

I was expecting some recommend kit and pics, but it's not looking good

  10. Hold yer 'orses mate. I know you think you have a prob, but everyone else says they have the same thing to a greater or lesser extent..... You could go and spend some dosh to find it makes no difference? Maybe?

  11. Sorry Ken,

I just work on impulse, well I'm thinking, if I'm stripping it off to look at it....you know the rest!

I'm struggling to find any info on sprockets, carriers and hubs at the minute tho.
