It will tell scrotes looking for easy pickings in the garden that they might just be a motorbike in the shed....bit like motorbike stickers on a van...don’t feed the bastards
Drove from Amsterdam to London now leeds in bed, might have picked up a Portugal job for later in the year though off customer in London which would be good never been Portugal
Last night, my neighbour came home drunk, and banged on his own door for a good five minutes. Problem is, he lives alone, so I had to get up and go tell him that he wasn't there, and then he left.
Because they are difficult to catch and they scratch and bite when you stuff them in a tyre Sorry, couldn`t resist Apparently, the mousse inserts, like a foam ring, are ok if you just ride off road, moto X or enduro for example, if you use them for any distance on the road they degrade fairly quickly. We had to ride 20 miles on the road just to get to the meeting point. I`ve never bothered with them because, at £100 per wheel and their apparent short lifespan if you do any road miles, just never seemed worth it. If you know any different then I would be very interested to hear. My mate uses tyre slime but that is only really any good for thorns. The tyre weld, although not really for tubed tyres got us another hour or so riding and then home, we think he picked the nail up on the road just before we stopped for dinner, so could have happened on any bike really. Bit of consumer advice. The £2.99-ish Aldi/Lidl/B&M tyre weld he borrowed, lasted way longer than the better known £11.99 version he had to buy.
Still packing helli parts for posting, what a pain in the bum. Breaking these as I no longer have the patience, keeping the little electric one though as I can play with that in the garden. Steve
Bleaching my house as my boy has come down with a sickness bug and I can’t afford to get it Mask on rubber gloves and buckets of bleach My pictur is in the random picture thread
That's actually a good point Carl, I never thought about it like that. Lulled into a sense of security I suppose on the basis we have very little crime around here, to the degree no-one locks their cars and many even leave the keys in the car when they pop into the shops!. Now that you've made me think about it I'm going to have put blinds on the windows in the garage as well , just in case.
Today I have lost my patience with Bensons Beds. I've just written a scathing email about their utter incompetence to their CEO. If he is just like his other members of staff then probably bugger all will happen.
Admittedly mice are expensive but after having a couple of punctures ruining trail rides I tried mousses and never looks back. Inertubes may be cheaper but you either have to carry a spare 21ins, levers and pump, or use slime, which mucks up for putting a patch on. And when you need to drop tyre pressures for more grip you then become more suscept
Sorry don’t know what happened there, anyway makes you more susceptible to pinch puncture. I had no problem with riding on the road as long as you keep your road speed down. If I was still riding off road I wouldn’t entertain tubes.
13 hours straight negotiating a contract for small waste to energy plant. Got to contract an hour and a half ago. Now home, enjoying this...
