Lighting circuits here are usually protected by a 5amp fuse/breaker. That’s a kilowatt, hence the earth.
I know. I had been thinking about a bit more security for the garage anyway, unlikely to ever be needed but just in case. Sure there are padlocks on the doors but if someone were really that way inclined they could just jemmy off the hasps/screws/padlocks all in one go. I could fit anchor points inside and secure the bikes to them but that doesn’t protect my tools. Mind you no-one would steal the 748 at the moment, take a look at the photo. They wouldn’t know which bit to take first as it’s all over the garage and the Monster’s got a disk lock on at present. I was thinking I could run a couple of wires from the mains feed to the fuse box, pre the RCD, direct to the steel hasps with a switch secreted outside, then, when armed, as soon as anyone touches the hasps/padlocks with fingers or a jemmy they’re fried, hee hee hee . Edit: I forgot to upload the photo
Well yesterday I posted a set of 999 belts to MCN, Media House (purchased off Ebay) and today I get an email from the Editor of Practical Sportsbikes magazine wanting to buy some for his 996 ………………..
If it is then its a perfect example of great parallel thinking, as I've not seen or heard of it before.
I vowed never to give them business again. I paid to have the old bed removed, but because his paperwork didn't show it, he refused. I showed him the invoice with it on there... "not my problem"..... called the store and they said I'd have to come iI to get a refund! Said I wanted the old bed/matress removed, nope not worth a second trip......grrrrrr... never again.
In probably what is one of my most advanced pieces of prior proper planning ever, I informed SWMBO I/we intend (aka I'm asking permission) to attend WDW2020. She didn't say no - and hasn't said no so far . Mind you it's only been a few hours. Now I have to plan SWMBO's itinerary as she has no interest in bikes.
