?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  1. Nope. Your words not mine.

We're being polite. Not to assume this would be to assume that they were semi-moronic.

I'll take my local hand-made any day over your American, palm-oil Cadbury's, but suit yourself.

Why would it? Things are fine as they are. Not quite the same as leaving after 40 years with no plan in place. Switzerland is already infinitely more European (and probably more integrated with the EU) than the UK is ever likely to be be. Several magnitudes greater after Brexit.

  2. "That doesn't make them stupid, it makes they ill-informed and lied to."

  3. I think you'll have to answer this one yourself? Or just go for a drive in the Porsche!

  5. Speaking of integration, I'd suggest that Glidd and noobie agree to differ and shake hands but ... what if noobie doesn't want to shake hands, due to his religious beliefs? Will Glidd refuse to accept a detente until noobie agrees to shake hands?

This could go so badly wrong. A true clash of cultures.

  6. Don't worry glid, we will protect your tax avoiding nation now we are Bro's

  7. Which?

    Remainders? Leavers? Both?

  8. So, just so that I understand this, you don't like the idea of the EU coming together with a common tax policy on the tax-dodging multinationals trading in Europe, or getting rid of sweetheart deals for multinationals so that they pay less tax if spuriously domiciled in Ireland or Luxembourg for example? You think it's better if they continue to cheat?

You did read the article, didn't you?

  10. or getting rid of sweetheart deals for multinationals so that they pay less tax if spuriously domiciled in Ireland or Luxembourg for example?

Can you explain why if the eu is against this, why the eu has been rife with these for the last 40 years? It's the equivalent of selling condoms to avoid pregnancies but sending the condoms out all with holes in. Hardly a benchmark of dudley do right

  11. "Strange"?

    That doesn't sound very welcoming!

  12. What it says to me is if they can't get what they want with all 28 in favour, they'll change the rules to just a majority, continually looking for more control.

  13. Oh boy.

The EU is in bed with the multi-nationals, in lockstep, this has been a cosy relationship for decades.

Now - suddenly - the EU wants to clamp down. Yeah.

    Try this exercise:

    1. We the EU want to amalgamate and administer the tax regimes of member states because we suddenly realised that the multi-nationals have been getting away with stuff (for 40 years)
    2. We the EU want to amalgamate and administer the tax regimes of member states because this is this next step in our plan for a federal European superstate.
Which explanation will sit better with the peons in the individual member states?
Will they go for, "Hey the EU is on our side, looking after the little guy!"
or will they go for "Hey, we are on our way to becoming a region of Greater Germany!"

    Choose wisely now!

  14. I agree. It's been pretty shite for years because some countries are always trying to undermine others, taxwise. But now it seems that they actually want to do something about it, recognising the problem. Yes, it is ironic that Junker should be behind this as he was one of the main Luxembourg architects of the unfairness. I'll save you from having to point this out to me.

But now that they do want to do something, this is just seized upon by Brexiteers as a clue to a hidden agenda. You couldn't make it up, but then Brexit seems to be able to make up anything. They could have come up with Harry Potter.

  16. Do me a favour Loz. Tell me, do you read Breitbart News? Have you ever? If yes, this will save me the bother of replying to any of your posts and consequently a lot of time.

  19. There is no hidden agenda, the europhiles are quite open about their wishes for the eu project. Since the maasterich agreement, the management company for the eu 28, has become the controlling body of the 28.

They do wish to tie all national budgets together to make one budget run by and controlled by, the eu project in brussels, They want a european army to or at least bring each nations army under the control of the eu rather than leave each country to control their own armed forces.

The eu at some point in the future will probably want to call itself a country rather than a management organisation. It's only a matter of time as they get in more countries who take from the eu but are not sold on the eu whole bible, before they change all of the members agree or nothing, is changed to a majority vote knowing full well the smaller countires will have less of a say
