1200 DVT Headlight Adjustment

  2. I have the same issue, headlights adjusted all the way down, and still too high. If anyone comes up with a hack for this, I'd love to see it.
     
  3. I guess you could add more rear preload, but that's not an ideal solution. Could do with hearing from someone that's removed the headlight, to better understand if the adjustment could have it's range extended.
     
  4. Altering the way your bike rides and handles, just to get the headlight pointing in the right direction is a bit drastic...

  5. The headlight is mounted by four bolts through the usual rubber anti vibe mounts. It is easily accessable and it would be easy to adapt to change the pitch slightly. You wouldn't want to overdo it though either. I would do mine, but has been in the shop for 3 weeks with an incurable stutter.
     
  6. I had a similar issue. Turned out that the unit wasn't sitting correctly in its mounting points, or there was something fouling it. Basically took the front end to bits and re-seated it. No more flashing from annoyed cagers.
