Desmosedici Paint Job

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by Dave, Jan 30, 2013.

  1. Go 12 if you can for Bayliss, remember it was the last EVER win of the 990 era (2006) on which this bike is based

  2. Not 21?

  3. Raced under 12 in GP 21 was taken... Hopper

  4. I'm not gonna go for a number but I had Capirex in mind when I plumped for this paint job

Was a bit surprised to see the number 7 provided. I've only found a couple of pictures of Checa with a full Marlboro job like this.

  6. Got some spares you may need from when I had my desmo , especially if your using on track !!!!
    Engine £6250 ..complete
    tank 600 unmarked
Other bits and pieces left also available from folly of using one on track !
If you think engines expensive , wait until valves burn (and they will ) , then you'll think a complete motor at this price is an absolute bargin .

  10. Very nice Dave :upyeah:

  11. Isn't it just! I am well pleased.

  12. Is indeed a stunner, very nice!

  13. Are you running the std rear rim and tyre?

  14. He was on the Ducati in GPs with number 12 when I started racing, which is half of the reason I chose to race with 12. I played inside centre as well, that's the other half.

  15. At the moment yes - 17" wheel is in the pipeline though

  16. Yes will be better to change it as you don't have a great tyre choice with the std rim. In fact you don't have any choice and its not the best.

It looks superb, enjoy it and pretend your Stoner with that engine howling...

    Just don't bin it.
