  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.

  6. Unfortunately not, as MP's would not allow it. I believe they are out of step with the majority of voters (yes Finm, not the Scots). Get ready for sound of can being kicked down the road soon.....

  7. Why are we tolerating the EU giving us ultimatums (the latest one on us to make new proposal by Friday). I'd quite like us to make the ultimatum take it or leave it.

    Feel better now

  9. It does all feel rather a waste of everyones time.

The EU won't move on the backstop

The deal won't get voted through without some movement

Remain MP's will vote in anyway it increases their chances of a 2nd referendum

Why don't we just cut to the chase and have another vote?

    1-Leave on WTO terms initially
    2-Remain as is & withdraw article 50

Everyone takes their chances that way

  10. because party politics wont allow it.
up here its called the, Bain Principle.

  11. When the brexit result was declared in 2016, We had pretty much most of the top eu commisioners say they were sad and the eu had to take a look at itself and make changes. Everyone knows it is in a mess, self serving, abuses it's powers and has never been elected by the very peoples whose money they spend.

Instead they have for the last three years blamed the messenger and not the message and shown their nasty side given even more remainers saying, the eu is not this utopia I thought it was. I say this because the european mep elections are on in 10 weeks and now you have people like Macron, who has been a bit of a cvnt and blaming everything on brexit whilst ignoring the yellow jackets are of his own making.

One of the others frothing at the mouth anti brexit anti U.K. has been our old buddy, Guy Verhofstadt, almost every week the anger and poison coming from his mouth has made many realise why leaving the eu was a good idea

Now I mention Guy and the elections because I think the body snatchers have got him. I don't normally post items from the express as it gets fin in a tizzy and has him running to wings over summerzet and al murrays brother, craig.

So, here is an express article, and I only post it because it has a video of guy actually talking whilst campaigning and his views seem to be rather different than when in the eu parliament

  13. Isn't it similar to the do you vote for the person or the party argument ?

Although, doesn't the EU work differently - people vote for the MEPs then they vote for the 'leaders' ?
(Are the 'leaders' selected from elected MEPs ?)

  14. How are European Union representatives elected?
Elections to the European Parliament are held every five years. The citizens of the EU member states elect their representatives to the European Parliament by direct public ballot. The European Parliament looks after the interests of the citizens when decisions are made in the European Union.

    How EU commissioners are elected?
The Commission consists of 28 members, one from each member state. Its president is nominated by the national leaders and then elected by the European Parliament by majority vote. ... The European Parliament must approve the Commission as a whole but does not vote on individual commissioners.

I don't think we have any say who the commissioners are.

  15. The government of each member state appoints their Commisioner.

  16. I know the snp considers it's self to be forward thinking fin but I'm pretty sure they, like the rest of the 513 million people of the eu, have never had a ballot paper for those selections to the eu commission?
