I don't think you can appoint a new PM in the timescale that postponing Brexit would allow. I suspect its more likely we will have a General Election.
The eu have announced within the last hour that they are sending a new brexit negotiator to Britain as the last one, Mrs May, has let them down
only if she steps down, the no confidence vote that she won recently meant she was safe for a year. Even if it went to a general election, Corbyn wouldn't be the one to put Labour back into power, he is now too much of a poison challice
No PM will be able to withstand the full weight of the party, and certainly not one as weak as May - especially if more Ministers resign over the forthcoming vote or publicly annouce they are voting against her deal. I wouldn't be betting against Corbyn yet.
I'd be happy with a General Election, let them all nail there colours to the mast and see who gets in, Labour are going against the majority of there voters, it would be interesting as Brexit would take center stage.
This was the timescale when Cameron stood down. 5th July The first ballot of Conservative MPs is announced. The candidate with the fewest votes will be eliminated. 7th July Another vote is held. Voting will continue to take place every Tuesday and Thursday until two candidates remain. July-August The candidates spend their summers campaigning. Votes are given to party members. 9th September The result is announced, just in time for the Conservative party conferance on the 2nd of October. Bear in mind that any contest is likely to be very bloody and there are many candidates who would struggle to gain the support of the Parliamentary Tory party, probably including Johnson.

Agree totally, unfortunately we've been let down by our own MP,s, I don't know how they sleep, total disregard for the people they represent. Steve
