I think I'm been classed as one of the leave thickos as I've recently been picked up on a spelling mistake, bloomin British education, or could it be a lack of concentration due to spell check on the phone, I don't think I will ever get to the bottom of this, I really hope I don't loose any more sleep. Poll not pole, POLL not POLE repeat POLL not POLE.
We have 4 people at work in our metrology Lab, all are Polish - they are all different heights. We call them our measuring Poles
Don’t worry. Did you read Glids little story about Dave moving house, kind of sums up what remainers think of leavers.
are these areas comprised of over the 30% imigrants? i'v no idea. i think the phrase was "generally" too Generally, the higher the immigrant population, the higher the Remain vote.
You know this to be true, unlike Glid who hasn’t read back through the last 2 years of tripe they have posted, but you are both being troublesome together
thats not what i have seen. sure its got heated, theres been lots of negative behaviour, but i know who the trolls and instigators are. you wont be able to convince me otherwise.
Come on mate, I was just pulling your leg. Finm made a super typo (he quite often does) a couple of days ago which I nearly gave him a hard time for but the conversation had moved on a couple of pages. Humour is all in the timing. It’s just as well my skin is as thick as it is, what with Loz laughing sarcastically at every point I make. If I got upset about it I could just leave you in your anti-EU huddle in your corner of the pub. It’s tempting to do that but you won’t have nearly as much fun if you don’t have anyone to argue with. Still, if the half-dozen or so of you would prefer that, just say so. I won’t mind. You can just spend your time nodding sagely at each other. I’ve got loads of other things to do, honest. I was going to make a list of positives that the EU had done but it’s all just more work and time and it’s not as if it’s going to provoke a road-to- Damascus experience on any of you guys, so why bother? There are only 3 scenarios: You’ll leave with May’s deal. Everyone will complain endlessly about how shit it is. The Remainers will say we should never have left the EU. The Leavers will complain that the politicians were crap. It doesn’t reflect the “will of the people” / “the 17 point something million” / “the democratic vote” (delete as applicable). You’ll leave with no deal. The Leavers will initially be triumphant and delighted. They will organise street parties. A few months in, when no brilliant trade deals have materialised, companies have moved abroad, unemployment has risen and tax revenues fallen, everyone will complain again. The Remainers will have been complaining anyway. You won’t leave, after a few more months of squabbling, a vote or two, a referendum or two. Half the country will go back to doing whatever it had been doing. The other half will moan endlessly about betrayal. This will die down over the years as they die off, but they will take their sense of grievance to the grave. A can of worms was opened and no one will be able to put them back. This thread has got a few more years of life left in it yet except that the Remain side won’t even bother to show up to say “told you so”. This post will now be laughed at by Loz (he’s so jolly) and drama-queened and nuked by the rest of you. Go ahead. Knock yourself out.
My post was tongue in cheek, I think anyone who uses the forum regularly will recognise I have a sense of humour, I don't take anything on here seriously, grammar and spelling have never been my strong point and I know it. I've now blocked you. Steve
you guys wanna talk about politics in the UK, fine. scotland IS part of the uk, i talk aboUt my expieriances of the uk and politics from a position of knoladge and expieriance. sorry its not all about you, but, hayho.
So.......this ferry/shipping crisis..........do we have enough ferries to bring in all the milk and honey we will need/deserve?
Well, for starters, in the "Control Earth" experiment where the EU never got off the ground, the UK was destroyed when the EU nations went to war with each other in 1981. This proves conclusively that the EU is the reason why another European war has not occurred after WWII. So the EU prevented the destruction of the UK and it is only by remaining in the EU that the UK can avoid invasion and elimination by those blood-thirsty, warmongery European savages. What more do you need, Alan?
